“As a Christian, one thinks about how to help further the cause.  For me, it is through art, since “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and can sometimes silently communicate certain truths in a more moving way than if left only to endless debate.  I hope my paintings will help to shine a light on the hidden and unexplained, and that my interest in tone rather than color will give them a haunting, timeless quality. I love what Martin Luther said:  “There is no vehicle which displays the glory of God and the wonder of God as clearly as the arts.  Art is the reflection of God’s creativity, an evidence that we are made in His image.”  With any good result, however, I have to say, “not I but the grace of God that was with me.”
